Dwayne Johnson is The Tooth Fairy, also known as Derek Thompson, a hard-charging minor league hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids. I’m just amazed that Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter aren’t involved. I was starting to think that Tim Burton couldn’t go anywhere without bringing them along. But this one looks like it might be a great capper to the slowly waning summer movie season–or at least it will be by the time it comes out.
